3DTV asked Heavenspot to create a new video player for their website. The unique challenge with their product is that it requires 3D glasses to work. What we strived to accomplish with 3DTV was to create a video player that was as simple as it was intuitive, offering the user an elegant experience whether they own 3D glasses or not. As 3D settings can also be complicated, we wanted to make the use of the player as natural as possible, and not to create another difficult barrier to entry that 3D video already has.
I created a full set of wireframe scamps of the original player to get a better understanding of how the player currently worked.
